We believe that all are
welcome at God’s table.

Our Beliefs

  • We believe in the Triune God, one God in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe that God created the universe. God is loving, compassionate, just, and full of grace. God’s deepest desire is to live in relationship with all people.

  • We believe that, because of his desire to be with us, God became a human being: Jesus Christ. Through his death and resurrection, Jesus broke the power of death and made it possible for all people to live in a relationship with God.

  • We believe that the Holy Spirit is the presence of Jesus Christ with us. God is still present and at work in the world, empowering all people to love and serve in Jesus’ name.

  • We believe that the church is the Body of Christ, called to worship, serve, and share God’s great love with the world.

  • We identify with the confessions of the Lutheran Church, affirming the centrality of grace alone, faith alone, and word alone.

  • We believe in the sacrament of baptism. Through baptism, we become children of God. We baptize people of any age, including infants, and rejoice with them as they join God’s family.

  • We believe in the sacrament of Holy Communion. We believe that all are welcome at God’s table without exception. Baptism and Communion are God’s gifts to God’s people, therefore, anyone who is hungry and thirsty for the unbounded grace, mercy, and forgiveness of Jesus is ready to receive.

  • We believe that all people are created in God’s image and are therefore valuable. To this end, all are welcome at our church. We believe God meets and loves us as we are but will always call and shape us into people ready to serve in God’s world.

Lastly, we believe that you are welcome here! We celebrate God’s grace, invite you to come as you are, and celebrate God’s grace with us.
