Deacon Julie is the Director of Kid’s Ministry, ages 3-Grade 5 which includes Church School, Vacation Bible School, and special milestones. She joined the Good Shepherd staff in 2016 after working at congregations in New York City and Maple Grove, MN. She graduated from Concordia College and received her Master of Arts degree from Luther Seminary in 2007.

She is married to Pastor Taylor and together they have 2 girls, Natalie and Claire. They love being a part of the Moorhead community and when they aren’t at church, Julie loves spending time with friends, reading a good book, and cheering their girls in their various activities.

Deacon Julie serves on the ELCA Northwestern Minnesota Synod Council and the Moorhead Legacy Education Foundation Board.
